Diabetes Education
Living with diabetes is not always easy, but the good news is that it can be managed. Bridgton Hospital offers diabetes patients a Self-Management Training Program, an educational program that can help diabetes patients live a healthier life.
Certified Diabetes Educator

Ear, Nose, Throat
The clinic offers consultations and follow-up care for ENT diseases including head and neck cancers, sinus conditions, sleeping disorders, surgical consultations and postoperative care for tonsils, sinuses, ear tubes, and eardrums. Outpatient services include minor surgeries such as the removal of lesions and biopsies.
Second Monday and Fourth Friday of each month, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Endocrinology & Diabetes
The clinic provides specialty care for patients 16 years of age or older who are living with such health issues as diabetes, thyroid disease, cholesterol disorders, pituitary disease, reproductive disorders, adrenal tumors, hyperparathyroidism, obesity, and metabolic bone disorders, including osteoporosis.

Foot Care
Foot care for preventing complications affecting the feet of those living with diabetes.

Hematology-Oncology (Cancer)
Consultations and diagnosis for patients with cancer and blood disorders. Hematologists-oncologist, oncology nurses and support staff provide assessments, patient education, chemotherapy, transfusions, infusions, support and coordination of care.

Care and education for those with fractured bones, dislocations, joint problems, degenerative arthritis, severe sprains, and tendon problems. Hand services focus on patients with fractures, deformities or medical conditions involving the hand, wrist or arms.

Outpatient Treatment
Care for patients requiring IV medications, transfusions, injections, wound care, cortisol stimulation testings, and procedures such as paracentesis. Observation for patients requiring continued assessments after an outpatient procedure.

Sports Medicine
Consultation and follow-up care for broken bones; osteoarthritis management, including, viscosupplementation and steroid injection; conditioning and training services, including exercise programs for those with special needs such as cardiac, pulmonary and genetic developmental issues; and concussion management.

Treatments for urological conditions such as hematuria, urinary retention, enlarged prostate (BPH) interstitial cystitis, kidney stones, male infertility, and urinary tract infections. Testing and treatments include laboratory phlebotomy, PSA testing, cystoscopy, biopsy, catheter insertion, radiological testing and vasectomy.

Vascular Surgery - Bridgton
Bridgton Hospital provides vascular services once a month for those suffering from vascular disease and other vascular conditions. Services are provided by a Central Maine Medical Group vascular surgeon. The clinic offers the diagnosis and treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysm, cerebrovascular disease, carotid artery stenosis, peripheral arterial disease, renovascular hypertension, mesenteric artery disease, varicose veins, spider veins, and lower extremity aneurysms.
Third Friday of the month between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
