Specimen:     Collect: Tissue, respiratory specimens, skin scrapings, corneal scrapings, hair, or nail clippings.

Specimen Preparation: Do not put nail clippings or hair in a moist environment (saline). Transport tissue, respiratory specimen, skin scrapings, corneal scrapings, hair, or nail clippings in a sterile container.

Source of specimen is required.

Unacceptable Conditions: Swabs, blood, or bone marrow. Specimens submitted in gauze. Leaking or non-sterile containers.
Transport Temp:    Store and transport sample at Room Temperature.
Spec Stability:    Stable 7 days ambient.
