Do NOT centrifuge the sample.
Pour the WHOLE BLOOD sample into an amber transport container to protect the sample from light. Freeze the sample. The sample MUST be frozen within 4 hours of collection.
NOTE: Protect from light within one hour of collection and during storage and shipment.
Unacceptable Conditions: Any specimen other than whole blood. Glass tubes. Clotted or non-frozen specimens.
