Note:    The VITROS Cannabinoid assay detects 11-nor-Delta 9-THC-9-carboxylic acid, the major metabolite of delta 9-THC in human urine. It also detects other delta 9-THC metabolites. Marinol, a synthetic hydrocannabinol, also is metabolized into 11-nor- delta 9-THC-9-carboxylic acid, and can be detected by this assay.

This assay uses a threshold concentration of 50 ng/mL to separate a negative result from a presumptive positive result.

Confirmation testing will be performed upon physician request.

This test is indicated for medical purposes only.
