The VITROS Methadone assay detects methadone in human urine. Except for small amounts of methadol and normethadol formed during metabolism, none of the metabolites of methadone are pharmacologically active.
This assay uses a threshold concentration of 300 ng/mL to separate a negative result from a presumptive positive result.
Confirmation testing will be performed upon physician request.
This test is indicated for medical purposes only.
