|Processing Info: ||The order at ALI is: PLT HAT. Send serum frozen to ALI Coagulation Department. If ordered STAT, contact CMMC lab courier for ASAP delivery before 6:30 PM.|
Testing is performed Sunday through Friday, once per day on the evening shift. Samples must be at ALI no later than 6:30 PM.
Write on the request form "Fax results to 795-2345". The coag tech is responsible for entering the results.
Ordering provider must complete a "Pretest Probability Scoring Sheet" . Copies of the form are in CMMC Coagulation Dept. If the provider has not completed the scoring sheet and the sample is ready to go, the sheet can be faxed later to 973-7583.
NOTE: Bridgton and Rumford do not send their Plt HIT Ab to ALI. Both of these hospitals have the test routed to ARUP to be put on ARUP Transfer Lists. *ARUP test code for Rumford and Bridgton is 2012179*
