Group Fitness and Wellness Classes

The Health & Fitness Center offers a great variety of group exercise classes, many of which are included in a monthly membership.

For cardio/aerobics:

Step Aerobics

Get your heart pumping and your muscles moving. This class alternates step aerobics with muscle work. Get an awesome cardio workout to strengthen the entire body, head to toe.

Strength Training

Core and Sweat

Weight training that targets major muscle groups and your core, while addressing hard-to-reach spots. Features extensive floor work.

Functional Fitness

Increase core and upper body strength and improve stability of abdominal and low back muscles. Learn to prevent injury due to improper body mechanics and repetitive motions.

Cardio & Strength Combo

Cardio Sculpt

Combinations of low-impact moves with weight training, targeting major muscle groups while addressing hard-to-reach spots including extensive floor work.

Group Pump

This is one of our versions of a "boot-camp" style of exercise. In other words – be ready to work out! This class features resistance training set to music. You’ll burn calories and strengthen muscles. A great way to start your morning and get pumped up for your day.

H.I.I.T. Training (High Intensity Interval Training)

This is another "boot-camp" style of class. You will feel it!! Interval training is one of the best ways to maximize your calorie burn! This class features 3-minute intervals of HIGH intensity cardio, separated by 30-second rest periods. It's a better morning "pick-me-up" than a cup of coffee!

Power Plus

Functional weight and mobility training to increase flexibility and strength, resulting in lean muscle (not bulk). Build core strength and improve balance by incorporating every muscle group. Finish with a gentle cool down and stretch.

Trimnastics

A low-impact, total-body circuit workout targeting all major muscle groups. Tone muscles and burn calories in this exciting class.

T'N'T!

"Tone N' Tighten those problem areas — hips, thighs, gluteals, abdominals and waist. The results: a well-defined, shapely and toned lower body and midsection!

Yoga/Pilates/Dance

Pilates

Work on those "trouble" areas many of us are focused on: the hips, thighs, and triceps, as well as the abdominal and back "core" areas. Most exercises are performed on a mat. Mats and light weights are provided.

Yoga

Welcome to the world of relaxation and rejuvenation! Center and balance yourself through breathing, poses, meditation, and relaxation exercises.

Zumba

Zumba is an exciting exercise program that uses dance moves to help you get a great workout! You'll have fun and get fit with this Latin-inspired dance exercise program. Zumba includes a variety of dance styles set to basic rhythms such as merengue, salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, belly dance, flamenco, tango, and samba.

Fit 'N' Fun

Entertaining exercise for the over-55 crowd! Improve aerobic capacity, strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination!

Happy Hearts and Lungs

A maintenance program for people with a cardiac and/or pulmonary history. Supervised individual, independent cardiovascular and strength training. Incorporates group weights and self-safety skills.

Mom's Power Hour

New and expecting moms can get and stay fit with this cardio, resistance, and stretching routine specially designed for muscular conditioning and endurance in preparation for labor, delivery, and post-partum recovery.

Personal Fitness

This class begins with a one-on-one evaluation with a health fitness specialist and progresses to a structured group exercise plan. The class has a special focus on flexibility, balance, and fall prevention.
