School of Radiologic Technology Financial Information
  • Application Fee: $20 To be submitted with the application.
  • Tuition: Approximately $4,000 per year. A $300 non-refundable tuition depositis payable upon acceptance.
  • Books: Approximately $700 per year.
  • Accident Insurance: $70 per year required of all students.
  • Rooms: On-campus housing is available at a rate of $450 per month.
  • Uniforms: Uniforms and white shoes are required to be worn and are the student's responsibility.
  • Financial Policies

  • A $300 non-refundable tuition deposit is due upon notification of acceptance. The remainder of the tuition for the fall semester is due prior to the beginning of the school year.  The tuition for the spring semester is due by January 1.  Students will be billed directly for courses taken at CMCC.
  • Tuition for the second academic year is due prior to the fall and spring semesters.
  • Books to be used at CMMC will be purchased by the student.  Students will be provided a list of required texts and may purchase the books via the Internet (www.amazon.com) or order them at a bookstore.  Books to be used at CMCC may be purchased at the CMCC bookstore.
  • Financial obligations must be met at both CMMC and CMCC in order for the student to progress in the program.
  • Students withdrawing from the program must notify the program director at CMMC and the faculty advisor at CMCC.
  • Students withdrawing after 3 weeks into the semester will not be refunded any tuition.  The cost of books, the application fee, accident fee, health record review fee, and the room deposit for the on-campus housing are excluded from these computations.  Any student withdrawing before the start of the program will forfeit the tuition deposit.  The following schedule will be used to determine student refunds.            
    • Withdrawal during the first week of the semester, 75% of the tuition will be refunded.
    • Withdrawal during the second week of the semester, 50% of the tuition will be refunded.
    • Withdrawal during the third week of the semester, 25% of the tuition will be refunded.

    Financial Aid

  • Students and parents share the primary responsibility for financing the students' education at CMMC.  Financial aid is available to students demonstrating financial need to supplement the family contribution.
  • Certificate students may receive a financial aid packet through the School of Nursing Financial Aid Department at CMMC.  Degree students may receive a financial aid packet through the financial aid office at CMCC.  Students requiring aid should submit the Financial Aid Form prior to May 1.
  • The CMMC School of Radiologic Technology is approved for the enrollment of eligible individuals by the following financial assistance programs:  Pell Grants, Maine Student Incentive Scholarship Program, Veterans Administration educational benefits, Stafford Loan Program, Parent Loans, Supplementary Loans to Students, and the Jobs Training Program.
  • Information concerning financial aid will be held in the strictest confidence.  All students are encouraged to explore financial assistance programs.
