CMMC's Inpatient Rehabilitation Offers Patients Comfortable Rooms and Accommodations
All patient rooms in our Inpatient Rehabilitation center have individual bureaus, personal closets, a bedside television and telephone. Basic cable television is provided, and the telephone can be used to make local calls.
The inpatient rehabilitation unit is equipped with two functional patient gyms; an occupational therapy training room equipped with a full kitchen and bathroom so that patients can practice activities of daily living; and three additional training rooms.
High-Speed Internet Access: Internet access is available in all common areas and in patient rooms. A laptop computer is available in the dining room for patient and family use.
Newspaper: A daily copy of the Lewiston Sun Journal is provided free to all patients.
Arbor House: We have a hospitality house for families of patients who live out of town and want to be close to their loved one. Learn more about the Arbor House.
Family Involvement: We encourage family members to be involved in your treatment by providing moral support and by observing therapy sessions. We may ask to have a conference with your family to talk about your goals, the progress you've made, and plans for discharge.
Therapy Dogs: Therapy dogs play an important role on the rehab unit. WCSH6 207 recently aired the video below that features a therapy dog that visits the CMMC Rehab Unit.
FMI: Call the Center at 207-795-2495, Monday-Friday; weekends, 207-795-2600.
