Who we are

Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) is an acute care, non-profit community hospital based in Lewiston, Maine.  CMMC provides a full range of primary and secondary acute care services on an inpatient and outpatient basis. In addition to being a multi-purpose medical center caring for patients from a broad spectrum of cultural and economic backgrounds, CMMC offers highly specialized services and state-of-the-art clinical facilities. CMMC has four "centers of clinical excellence" – emergency care services (Lifelight of Maine), the Bennett Breast Care Center, oncology services and Central Maine Heart & Vascular Insititute.  CMMC serves all of Androscoggin County as well as parts of Cumberland, Kennebec, Franklin, Sagadahoc and Oxford counties.
