Physician Specialties Neurosurgery

The neurosurgeon treats adult and pediatric patients with disorders of the nervous system, brain, meninges, skull, cranial and spinal nerves and their blood supply, including the extracranial carotid and vertebral arteries. They also treat disorders of the pituitary gland, spinal cord, and vertebral column, including those that may require treatment by spinal fusion or instrumentation.
