Bladder Control Center Bladder Scan for Post Void Residual

Bladder scanning is a non-invasive painless way to measure post-void residual. Post-void residual is the amount of urine that remains in the bladder after urination.

Patients who may have higher than normal post-void residuals are females with pelvic organ prolapse, males with prostate enlargement, patients experiencing urinary retention or overflow incontinence, just to name a few.
