Comprehensive Sports Medicine

Central Maine Orthopaedics, Central Maine Sports Medicine, and Select Physical Therapy together offer a comprehensive sports medicine program dedicated to helping the region's athletes maintain an active, athletic lifestyle whether they participate at a highly competitive level or are just looking for fun and exercise.

Paul Cain, M.D., Patrick Fallon, M.D., James Timoney, D.O., Peter Sedgwick, M.D., and John Hatzenbuehler, M.D., have combined their talents to offer a range of services for athletes at all levels, whether recreational, high school, collegiate or professional.

This comprehensive program integrates the services of physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists and athletic trainers to provide timely diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of sports related injuries.

The sports medicine program provides team physician coverage for Bates College and the Lewiston MAINEiacs hockey team and offers consultative services to regional high school athletic training programs.
