 The Orthopaedic Institute of Central Maine (OICM) is an inpatient care unit at Central Maine Medical Center dedicated exclusively to orthopaedics.
The 9,200-square-foot nursing unit - architecturally designed to de-institutionalize the patient experience through a hospitality aesthetic - is comprised of 16 comfortable private rooms, each with fully accessible bathrooms, flat screen televisions, and wireless internet service.
 The unit features a convenient physical therapy facility where a team of skilled, professional therapists provide comprehensive physical and occupational therapy services.
