Mission

The mission of the Central Maine Medical Center School of Nuclear Medicine Technology, in partnership with Central Maine Medical Family’s mission, is to provide quality education in Nuclear Medicine Technology to allow students to become competent Nuclear Medicine Technologists that can function as members of the healthcare team.

Program Goals

The program goals for the School of Nuclear Medicine Technology at Central Maine Medical Center are to:

  1. To develop Nuclear Medicine students that meet the entry level expectations of employers and have excellent patient care skills.
  2. To present the didactic and clinical experiences necessary to successfully pass the A.R.R.T. and the N.M.T.C.B. examinations.
  3. To maintain high academic standards and to constantly improve and update the Program curriculum.
  4. To provide a positive learning environment in both the didactic and clinical settings.
