Foot and Ankle Pain is topic of April 3 Presentation

"Your Guide to Foot and Ankle Pain" is the subject of a special presentation set for April 3 at Central Maine Medical Center.

Orthopaedic surgeon James Timoney, D.O., of Central Maine Orthopaedics and the Orthopaedic Institute of Central Maine, will discuss options for treatment and prevention of common causes of foot and ankle pain and discomfort.

Timoney specializes in sports medicine, with a special emphasis on foot and ankle surgery. He has experience diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of orthopaedic issues, ranging from sports and occupational injuries to developmental and degenerative problems. He is skilled in both surgical and non-operative treatments that can help individuals experience an optimal return to function.

He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

"Your Guide to Foot and Ankle Pain" will be offered on April 3 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Chairmen's Rooms on the lower level of the 12 High Street medical office building in Lewiston.

There is no cost for attending the presentation.

The presentation is being sponsored by the Orthopaedic Institute of Central Maine, a partnership of Central Maine Medical Center and Central Maine Orthopaedics.
