PAID TIME OFF - Hours for time off accrue weekly for full-time and regular part-time employees. The time accrues from the first day of FT and RPT employment on a pro-rated basis determined by the actual number of hours paid. Accrued hours are available to use after completion of the initial 90 day review period. The accruals are based on the following time-off policies:

  • Choice Time - Hours accrue at a rate of 200 hours/year (prorated for less than 40 hours/week) during the first 5 years of employment, 240 hours/year after 5 year and 280 hours/year after 15 years of employment. This time is available for vacations, holidays, sick days (the first 16 consecutive hours of an illness...prorated for RPT employees), etc.

  • Extended Sick Bank - Hours accrue at a rate of 48 hours/year (prorated for less than 40 hours/week) to a maximum of 600 hours. These hours are for extended illnesses and are available after using 16 consecutive hours of Choice Time (prorated for RPT employees).

BEREAVEMENT LEAVE - In the event of death in an employee's immediate family (parent, spouse, child), FT and RPT employees are allowed up to five days paid leave upon completion of 90 days of employment. In the event of the death of a sibling or parent-in-law up to three days will be available.

FLEXIBLE BENEFITS - The employer provides assistance for employees to participate in the Flexible Benefits program. Employees that have a FT or RPT status are able to participate in the benefits program. Benefits included are:

  • Health Insurance: Three different levels of insurance for all employees and an opt out option for full-time employees. Family coverage is available.

  • Dental Insurance: Preventive work fully covered and partial payment for most other services. Family coverage is available.

  • Life Insurance: From one times to five times annual salary life insurance is available. Accidental Death & Accidental Dismemberment is included. Premiums are determined by age and salary.

  • Dependent Life Insurance on family members is available.

  • Long Term Disability: After a 90 day waiting period, LTD pays benefits until recovery, death, or age 65. The benefit provides 60% of income up to a maximum receipt of $10,000/month. Premiums are determined by age and salary.

  • Healthcare and Dependent Care Spending Accounts allow you to pay for your family's non-covered health services and qualified day care expenses with pre-tax dollars. Employees may receive up to a 20% subsidy for using the Dependent Care Spending Account.

SOCIAL SECURITY/MEDICARE - CMMC contributes to each employee's Social Security/Medicare account. The withholding rate is determined by the Federal Government.

TUITION - Employees who wish to continue their studies may receive up to 50% tuition and registration fees upon satisfactory completion of each course. Application for funds must be made prior to course enrollment through the appropriate Department Manager.

HEALTH SERVICES - In addition to a pre-employment physical, CMMC provides annual X-rays and TB tests to employees at no charge.

DIRECT DEPOSIT - Employees are able to have all or part of their paychecks sent directly to the banking institution of their choice. See Human Resources for the forms.

SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE - Coordinated by employees, this group sponsors numerous social and recreational events for CMMC/CMHC employees and family members. Included annually are picnics, Boston trips, ice skating party, children's parties, and many others.

U.S. BONDS - Employees are able to purchase U.S. Savings Bonds through payroll deduction. More information is in Human Resources.

HEALTHY START - CMMC offers many services to the community. Healthy Start is one of the many ways to announce and publicize these commitments. Healthy Start is organized by the Wellness Center.

WELLNESS CENTER - The Healthy Start Wellness Center is much more than the usual health club. Our focus is on wellness rather than fitness. Membership fee is $20.00/month an can be payroll deductions.

RETIREMENT PLANS - CMMC offers three different options for employees to help prepare for retirement. Your age, earnings, and other income are factors that will help you decide which ones to participate in.

  • Pension Plan - After one year of employment, employees who work over 1000 hours/year and are at least age 21 may join the pension plan (for the following January 1st or July 1st). The cost paid by CMMC and each employee is based on salary, age, and length of employment.

  • Tax Sheltered Programs - Employees of CMHC, CMMC, CMCH (non-profit organizations) may enroll in a Tax Sheltered Annuity. This benefit allows that up to 20% of wages ($10,500/year maximum) be directed into a TSA. For more information, please see Human Resources. Employees of CMCA and AHS have a 401(K) available that allows most non-physician employees to contribute up to 15% of pay.

  • Roth IRA - All eligible employees may enroll into a payroll deduct Roth IRA. The purpose of this program is to build a tax free retirement account. Many fees and charges have been waived due to our group size. More information is available at Human Resources.
