Patient Representatives: CMMC's Goodwill Ambassadors
Are At Your Call
Central Maine Medical Center is committed to providing excellent
healthcare services to you and to all our patients. To help
us provide quality service CMMC welcomes any comments or suggestions
you may have about your care. Patient comments help us shape
the delivery of our services around the needs and concerns
of the patients we serve. A Patient Representative may visit
you during your stay to ask about your impressions of CMMC.
These trained volunteers work very closely with our patients
and the Medical Center staff to ensure that you receive the
best possible care.
The Patient Representative will:
- Listen to, investigate, and make every effort to resolve
your concerns;
- Help you, your family or an individual of your choice
understand your rights as a patient;
- Be a resource and help you understand hospital practices
concerning your care;
- Help you get the information you need and want about your
care.
If you have not seen your Patient Representative and have
a concern, please call the Guest Relations Office at extension
2398 between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday,
and a Patient Representative will visit you.
A patient survey will be mailed to your home within two weeks
after your discharge. We urge you to complete the survey and
return it to the Medical Center. |
