Elizabeth Beal Jardine photoElizabeth Beal Jardine, Au.D.

Dr. Elizabeth B. Jardine earned her doctor of audiology degree from Central Michigan University. She is certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, as well as the Maine Academy of Audiology. Prior to joining Central Maine Hearing Center clinical staff, Dr. Elizabeth worked as a clinical audiologist with Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento, Calif. At Kaiser, she provided hearing evaluations for adults and pediatrics, as well as advanced diagnostic testing and treatment for balance disorders of the inner ear. Dr. Elizabeth also taught graduate level courses on Auditory Processing Disorders in the department of speech language pathology at the University of the Pacific. She was also honored to serve for two years on the state board for the California Academy of Audiology as their Central Valley representative. A Maine native, Dr. Elizabeth was awarded the Outstanding Research Poster Award from the National Hearing Conservation Association in 2005 for her graduate research on hazardous noise levels in the downeast Maine lobster fishing industry.

At Central Maine Hearing Center, Dr. Elizabeth specializes in basic and complex hearing testing for adults and children of all ages, including Auditory Brainstem Response testing, as well as balance assessment and management for disorders of the inner ear, using Videonystagmography testing. Dr. Elizabeth also provides hearing aid services and assistive listening devices, including FM systems, for adults and pediatrics.

Dr. David A. Jardine is program coordinator for Central Maine Hearing Center. Dr. Jardine earned his doctor of audiology degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He is certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. David Jardine was the director of the Hearing & Balance Center at the University of the Pacific prior to joining CMMC. He has published several papers on hearing loss and tinnitus. He has served on the American Academy of Audiology Government Relations Board and currently serves on the Audiology Advisory Council of the American Speech Language Hearing Association.

Dr. David Jardine specializes in basic and complex hearing testing for adults. He also specializes in the assessment and management of tinnitus as well as balance disorders due to complications of the inner ear. Dr. Jardine is uniquely qualified in auditory rehabilitation, and is a member of an elite group of audiologists certified in the fitting of Lyric extended wear hearing aids.
