Radiologic technology combines advanced technology andhuman compassion. Radiologic technologists use their knowledge of physics, human anatomy, and physiology to create permanant medical images. Through a blend of classroom and clinical training, students learn radiographic equipment operation, patient positioning, radiation safety, and patient care.

The School of Radiologic Technology was founded in 1949 by Clark F. Miller, M.D. It was the first formal training program for x-ray students in the state of Maine. The school, its instructors, and its graduates maintain a leadership role in the education of radiologic technologists.
