If a question arises concerning a laboratory result, the ordering provider may request a confirmation of the result at no charge to the patient. Orders for confirmation testing should be phoned to the laboratory so that they may be processed by the laboratory as a ‘no-charge’.
Results of confirmation tests will be reported to the patient chart in the usual manner.
