Aerobics: We have a variety of instructors with different styles to meet your cardiovascular work out needs. You can purchase an aerobics punch card that allows you to participate in 10 different programs for one flat fee.

Back Breakers: A thirty minute core stability workout, designed to strengthen the back and abdominal area. For all fitness levels!

Ballroom Dancing: Get a taste of a variety of popular ballroom dances. Learn the basic steps of the foxtrot, waltz, swing, cha cha, rhumba, and tango. Prepare for those special wedding dances. Come with a partner and plan to have lots of fun.

Belly Dancing: Unique cardiovascular exercise! Lisa Cummings a.k.a. Imari has over 13 years experience! Therapuetic, energetic, beautiful! Suitable for ALL ages and body types, no prior dance experience required.

Cardio Kickboxing: A fast-paced class based on traditional kicking and punching techniques choreographed into easy to follow combinations. We have added kickboxing bags to spice up the workout so come for a great workout and get some stress relief!

Fit-n-Fun: Entertaining exercise class designed for the over 55 crowd! Improve aerobic capacity, strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination!

"Happy Hearts": A class designed for those people with a cardiac event history that have completed a rehab program and are looking for a 'maintenance' program. Specifically for those people who have had angioplasty, stents, MI, cardiac arrest, valve surgery, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), stable angina, and transplants. The class includes a general supervision and individual, independent cardiovascular and strength training. Also incorporates group weights and self safety skills.

Line Dancing: Come and join the fun and let the music move you as you learn old standbys and new dances. You don't need a partner and no dance experience necessary to learn these simple steps.

P.A.C.E. People with Arthritis Can Exercise. This is a gentle group recreational exercise program for people with arthritis or fibromyalgia.

Personal Fitness: Your program will begin with a one-on-one class with a personal health counselor who will meet with you to determine your fitness level and help you to establish your personal goals. You will then progress to a structured group exercise program. Personal Fitness is program that is geared toward the beginner exerciser.

Pilates: This is a mixture of western and eastern philosophies that focuses on teaching breathing with movement, body mechanics, balance, coordination, spatial awareness, strength, and flexibility. While learning to flow from one movement to another, you will build stamina and heart health.

Punch Cards: If you are not sure which aerobic/group exercise program is best for you, perhaps you should get an aerobics punch card. This card entitles you to 10 aerobic classes. For students of CMMF employees or current Wellness Center Members, the 10-visit punch card can be used for any cardiovascular and weight machines at the Wellness Center for a reduced fee.

Step Aerobics: A workout that will get your heart pumping and those muscles moving and grooving! Alternates step with muscles work using weights, tubing, etc... Get an awesome cardio workout and strengthen the entire body- head to toe!

Step To It: A combination of aerobics and condition that is designed to improve endurance and cardiovascular fitness. All while working on core strength.

Total Body Strengthening: A functional strength training class designed to improve coordination and overall muscel tone.

T'ai Chi: T'ai Chi, formally known as T'ai Chi Chuan, is an ancient Chinese movement art that uses a sequence of precise movements, meditation, and synchronized breathing to improve health and well being. T'ai Chi movements are designed to express yin and yang components (opposites) that are fundamental to Chinese medicine in a balances and harmonious form. Physical activities through T'ai Chi movement can improve stamina, muscle tone, agility, flexibility, and cardiovascular function.

Wellness for Life: A special exercise and wellness class designed for people with cancer, whether currently in or post-treatment. A Personal Health Counselor instructs the class while participants work in a low-key fashion to increase range of motion, flexibility, and energy levels. Sessions include half-hour of group exercise and half-hour of instruction in a variety of mind/body spirit techniques, such as nutrition, meditation, stress management, etc. Work together in a supportive, non competitive group atmosphere. Spouses, Caregivers, and family members are also welcome to participate in this class.

Yoga: The ancient Eastern discipline combining exercise, breathing, and meditation that is now recommended by many health professionals for its widespread benefits to health and well being. A variety of levels and approaches are offered, including Yoga for Health, an extremely gentle program for people with heart disease, cancer, arthritis, fibromyalgia, cancer or other serious health problems.

Zumba: The newest fitness sensation. Combines a fusion of Latin and international music with dance theme to create a dynamic fitness system. Utilizes principles of aerobic/fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning, and total body toning. Most of all, Zumba is FUN!
