American Cancer Society: 1-800-464-3102 or The American Cancer Society resource center includes comprehensive information about all different types of cancer, including the latest treatment options. ACS offers a number of patient assistance and support programs.
ASCO, the American Society of Clinical Oncologists (the world’s leading organization of medical professionals who treat people with cancer). Their “Cancer.Net” website is an accurate, reliable, and oncologist-approved source of information on more than fifty types of cancer. There is a section dedicated specifically for head & neck cancer, including information on new clinical trials, symptom management, caregiving, and ASCO resources.
Cancer Care, Inc.: 1-800-813-4673 Click on their “Cancer Types” link for head & neck cancer and you will obtain a wealth of information, including stages, treatments, side effects, clinical trials, and support services, including links to many relevant websites. They also provide free counseling services via their toll-free helpline, staffed by professional oncology social workers.
National Cancer Institute: 1-800-4-CANCER An excellent resource for up-to-date, accurate information about cancer, current treatment recommendations, clinical trials, and support services.
The Oral Cancer Foundation: (949)646-8000 is designed to reduce suffering and save lives through prevention, education, research, advocacy, and support. Their comprehensive website provides information, resource listings, and a patient/survivor forum, where those currently fighting oral cancer can gain insights and inspiration from those who have been there before them.

A patient-directed self-help organization dedicated to meeting the needs of patients with oral and head & neck cancers. Good resource for information, patient-to-patient connections, and support.
International Association of Laryngectomees: A comprehensive resource for laryngectomee and larynx cancer information, and laryngectomee rehabilitation resources.
