American Cancer Society: 1-800-464-3102 The American Cancer Society resource center includes comprehensive information about all different types of cancer, including the latest treatment options. ACS offers a number of patient assistance and support programs.
ASCO, the American Society of Clinical Oncologists (the world’s leading organization of medical professionals who treat people with cancer). Their “Cancer.Net” website is an accurate, reliable, and oncologist-approved source of information on more than fifty types of cancer.
Cancer Care, Inc.: 1-800-813-4673 or . Excellent source of information and support, including free counseling services by professional oncology social workers. Their website offers a special section of information on breast cancer and sexuality. CancerCare also administers a financial assistance program, AVONCares, for women with breast, cervical, and ovarian cancers to help with transportation, home care, and child care services.
National Cancer Institute: 1-800-4-CANCER An excellent resource for up-to-date, accurate information about cancer, current treatment recommendations, clinical trials, and support services.
Living Beyond Breast Cancer: An organization dedicated to empowering all women affected by breast cancer to live as long as possible with the best quality of life.
Maine Breast Cancer Coalition: 1-800-928-2644. An organization dedicated to generating public awareness about & funding for breast cancer. Provides patient support networks and also financial assistance to uninsured and underinsured women.
The Male Breast Cancer Information Center: A site developed by a man with breast cancer to provide information and support to men with breast cancer.

The National Lymphedema Network: 1-800-541-3259. Provides education and guidance to lymphedema patients, health care professionals and the general public by disseminating information on the prevention and management of primary and secondary lymphedema.
P.I.P.S. Club - "Pretty in Pink" Breast Cancer Survivor Club. A place to be yourself, share stories, laughs, maybe share your favorite music, book, video and if needed, share a cry. But most of all, to have fun and losts of it!
