Dedicated Inpatient Oncology Unit

The first-floor Memorial Wing (M1) nursing unit is a 27-bed inpatient facility that provides dedicated cancer care to our patients. M1’s caregiver team consists of physicians, nurses, certified nurses’ aides, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, physical and occupational therapists, as well as support personnel. Empowered by the expertise of each team member, M1 is committed to providing each patient with the highest quality care in a compassionate, trustworthy and safe environment.

The registered nurses on M1 have specialized training in chemotherapy administration, pain and symptom management, and palliative care.  Several RNs have earned their National Oncology Certification through the Oncology Nursing Society. These nurses are experts in the care of cancer patients.

M1’s goal is to provide patients with a detailed, personalized plan of care.  M1 delivers friendly, compassionate care in a highly technical environment.
