The Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center places great emphasis on research, not only for the benefit of the patients it directly serves, but to add to the collective medical knowledge of the disease.
A clinical research coordinator carefully monitors developments in cancer treatment and works with patients and physicians to help assure that the safest, most effective treatments are provided to those battling the disease.
