Mike is a certified physician assistant who assists the surgeons in the operating room and provides care to patients during the immediate post-operative period. He also sees patients at Central Maine Bariatrics before and after surgery.
A graduate of the University of New Hampshire in Durham, N.H., he earned his physician assistant degree at the University of New England, Portland, Maine, and completed a physician assistant surgical residency at Norwalk Hospital/Yale University School of Medicine, Norwalk, Conn. He certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. |

| John is a Certified Surgical/First Assistant. Devoting his clinical time primarily to the operating room and our inpatients, John provides crucial support and experience to our surgeons during surgery and in the follow-up period immediately after surgery. |

| Ashley and Jenna are registered and licensed dietitians. They work closely with our patients, providing them with with the nutrition information needed to successfully prepare for surgery and for achieving long-term success. |

Melanie Judd, R.N.

| Jessica and Melanie comprise our nursing team. They coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process. They thoroughly evaluate each patient's medical needs and offer educational information prior to surgery. They help patients organize appointments and prepare for surgery. |

Shannon Ruest, M.A.

| Shannon, our medical assistant, meets with new patients to gather medical information, answer questions, and prepare you for your visit with the care team. |
Ann Bulle, M.A.

| Ann is also a Medical Assistant, and in addition to working with Shannon, Ann does a great deal of work behind the scenes by providing support to the nursing team, interacts with patients regularly, works with insurance companies, and helps to navigate patients through the process toward surgery. |

Debra Parsons, Administrative Assistant/Scheduler

| Debra provides administrative support to our medical director and handles other tasks as well. She coordinates the scheduling of medical appointments and interacts with our patients during office visits. |

Kim Ogden, Patient Service Representative

| The friendly voice on the phone and the first person patients meet when they come into our clinic is Kim. She assists patients with registration and scheduling, and with finding any information our patients need. |

Andie Wishman, LCSW

| Erin and Andie are our key staff for our behavioral health services. Erin is a nurse practitioner and Andie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Because weight loss surgery is a big step, and success requires important life changes and adjustments, they both meet with patients to assess readiness for surgery. Our goal is to best assure your long-term success, and Erin and Andie help us make certain that you have all the support and resources you need to reach this goal. They frequently evaluate your progress and make recommendations to assist you through the process. |
